Plastikman/Musik (1994)

An English-born, Canadian-raised electronic musician/DJ, Richie Hawtin's second full-length album under the alias Plastikman. Ambient/minimal-oriented introspective acid techno influenced by early Detroit techno and acid house. Simple and stoic sound with few tones, using Roland TB-303 (bass) and TR-909 (drum) synths. Almost nothing but rhythms and sound effects, and melodies are thin. Beautility like buildings with exposed skeletons.
