A Flock of Seagulls is an English synth pop/new wave group formed in 1980 in Liverpool. The debut album which includes "Telecommunication" (an underground hit in disco/new wave club scene) and a hit single "I Ran (So Far Away)" (MTV aired the video in heavy rotation in the summer of 1982). Melodic synth pop featuring Paul Reynolds' unique style of echo-laden guitar playing. Recommended to those who like New Musik, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark and Bill Nelson.
